| well i said i was gonna update this blog. so i am. what now dorothy! ahaha =] Let's see what's been going on! Senior year is comming to an end with only two months left and I still can't believe that I'll be going off to college soon. Some college acceptance letters have come already and I have been accepted to CSLB,CSULA, CSUF, SAN JOSE STATE, SF STATE, UC DAVIS, & UC IRVINE. Currently still waiting on UCLA and UC SAN DIEGO. I have this feeling of waiting for them to accept me or reject me. RAWR! I really want to go to UCLA though. If I don't get into UCLA, my back up schools are UC IRVINE and UC SAN DIEGO(if i get in that is). I have the biggest feeling of leaning towards IRVINE for some reason. LoL. I would be following in the foot steps of my brother and sister, but then again it'd be very convenient and welcoming to have them there every step of the way. Funny thing is that how school is comming to an end and I'm actually working hard. It's like where was this attitude towards school in the beginning of the year, wait junior year, when I actually needed it a lot more? I guess I started to finally realize that I can't be screwing up anymore because sooner or later there will be no more make-up assignments or nothing. I can't wait to go dorm shopping! I was just talking about this over with Christy. I told her that I should work at Bed Bath and Beyond, so I could get discounts on stuff. LoL. Very smart plan, I must add. However, I don't even have the time to get a job. With such a full schedule, I work here and there doing little stuff, like I'm in this tutoring program and we basically get paid to be tutored for an hour a week with chances for added bonuses, which is pretty awesome, but then again sounds too good to be true. We haven't gotten paid yet and its been like almost the 4th week that we've been there, but we need to get "certified" first, since I was missing some information, my check will be delayed maybe, but that just means I get a big fat check at once. Besides the tutoring program, I work on call for ABC Harrell. My first time working at an event was pretty chill, but students are just so ARGH! I feel bad for all the picture people who have to deal with students complaining here and there. That reminds me! I should be getting a check from ABC Harrell in a couple days. YAY! MORE MONEY FOR ME! Money that I need to spend towards prom. Oh boy, Prom is sure expensive!!!!! I want to buy this one dress, but its $200. I guess $200 isn't all that bad for a dress, since other people spend hundreds more than I would. But then again, I got a dress free from PRINCESS PROJECT. Waking up at 5:30 in the morning, driving all the little KIDDIES ( = ] ) to SF to line up in the freezing cold just to get a dress. The dress I got from there is red, its not that bad, I kind of like it, but only problem is that its poofy! Walking around in a poofy dress is not fun at all. Standing still and looking pretty in one is fine. I already had a kind of bad experience with a big poofy dress at a previous prom I went to. The girls kept stepping on my dress and it was SUPER HEAVY. In the end I still can't wait for prom and am very very excited! Okay, that's more into the future, what's happening recently. I've been super focused on school. I put on my nerd glasses. hehe. and yes I can't forget that POPSICLE is next saturday. I am extremely excited for that event! It's going to be nice to see some people that I can't seen for a couple of months *AHEM!* |
